Dr. Alashi was born and raised in Halifax, where he earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Microbiology from Dalhousie University in 2016. He continued his education there, graduating from Dalhousie Dental School with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2020.
Following dental school, Dr. Alashi completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency in Salt Lake City. This intensive program emphasized comprehensive and complex treatment planning, oral implantology, surgical dental procedures including wisdom teeth extractions, and endodontic therapy. He is a member of the American Association of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Oral Implantology. As part of his clinical practice, Dr. Alashi offers oral sedation for both children and adults.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Alashi enjoys golfing, cooking, and spending time with his family.
